Angry Labour - we spend your money so you don't have to...

Labour Chancellor Alistair Darling has finally admitted that the Treasury's fiscal rules are now under review in order to support the UK economy.

In laymans terms, what he means is he needs to borrow more money in order to fund his squandering of taxpayers money on more useless projects such as bloated aircraft carriers which would be sunk within minutes should a real war break out, and funding civil servant pensions and members of parliament salaries + 2nd home expenses.

To anyone not aware, each of these bloated pigs charges us taxpayers the sum of approx £70,000 for his or her office for each and every year, this doesn't take into account day to day expenses or 2nd home expenses.

The UK needs a change in the way this political system is run because whether you vote for Labour, Liberal or Conservative, it makes no difference, they all have their greedy little mouths in the some trough. They change the colour of the jackets they are wearing but carry on regardless.

You look to Europe and you see the next tier of sponging politicians in their very own world, totally unaffected by current events what with their very own hidden funding, look at Blair, after invading Iraq and killing hundreds of thoudands of innocent civilians he's now the peace ambasador - why isn't he answering to the war crimes tribunal instead of earning an even higher salary courtesy of some non public facing politically funded organisation?

This abuse of Taxpayer money has to stop

My answer as to how to slow down the collapse of the UK economy is quite simple, but unfortunately takes more guts than any of the current politicians have, especially Gordon Brown whom I now have utter contempt for, well here goes:

Bring back all troops from engagement in wars overseas - we can't afford to warmonger!

Nationalise all utility companies - because these should be run for the benefit of the country not some fat shareholders, if they wish to contest this then remind them these companies have always been publicly owned, Thatcher never had the rights to sell them off because millions of public shareholders never gave their permission for her to do so. She stole these rights!

Fuel, Gas, Electricity, water, and rail companies should be run for the benefit of the country and not for profit. All companies producing a profit will be subject to a windfall tax which will then be 100% refunded to taxpayers.

Politicians expenses need to be rationalised to match company expenses, as such, 2nd homes are not allowable expenses in any shape or form - why should politicians be allowed 2nd home expenses when every other householder isn't allowed 1st home expenses on their tax return. If the politician doesn't like it, go find a different job like all the rest of us?

All public funded projects to be subjected to scrutiny by the Federation of Small Businesses - this way, all highly funded projects will be focused on by local and national media.

Last minute wasting of year end taxpayer money by councils needs to be stopped, by this I mean April 5th deadline, so councils go on a spending spree wasting money so that they spend the budget they have been allocated - except this is our money they are spending on silly tasks like tarmacing pavements along main roads, shrubs in roundabouts... anything that spends the budget instead of saving taxpayers money!

As to the rapidly increasing fuel bills which is hurting motorists and lorry drivers across the country, well bearing in mind the gross amount of tax currently made by the government, and you need to bear in mind the actual cost of oil is minimal before tax is added, the Chancellor could cut the overall cost of motoring by 20p or 30p per litre and still be in profit, he's just a greedy pig!

And that ignores the road tax which goes into the lovely taxation blackhole.

Bringing me onto the [until recently] very cosy speed camera partnership scam, unfortunately councils around the country are now realising that all tax revenue, oops speed fines, are now subject to redistribution from London, in layman terms, the money is taken from the local economy [local motorist] is spent in London by politicians, councillors, consultants, etc, then what's left is given back to the camera partnership.

In a nutshell this bleeds the local economy dry, with local people having no money to spend in the shops, they lose their jobs because they are banned from driving, they are fined so cannot drive to, or indeed spend the money in their local shops. The shops cannot afford the high rents demanded [Derby is a good example] so they go bust and are boarded up, their staff go on the dole and claim benefit...etc...etc...

Anyone who has driven around the inner ringroad of Nottingham will have noticed the fact that practically no one drives above 40mph, the reason being is the SPECS safety camera partnership cameras looking down on all motorists in case they average more than 40mph - what most taxpayers haven't been advised of is the operating costs of these cameras. The cost to the Nottingham taxpayer of these SPECS cameras is in the region of a loss of approx £125,000 per year since installation. The Chief Constable Stephen Green responsible for the installation of these cameras along with a few other Council officials has since retired from duty, though anyone who wishes to contact him may find these details on the electoral roll lol. Say sorry to Stephen
